Plan

Outcome

  • src/lib/patchlog.ts — Pure-Function-Parser (semver-sortiert, dedupliziert, vorrelease-aware). Liest .development/patchlog.md (Skill-Standard), RELEASE_NOTES_*.md und .development/CHANGELOG_*.md und aggregiert sie.
  • src/app/api/patchlog/route.ts — GET /api/patchlog[?since=vX] liefert {version, count, entries}.
Braucht keine Props.
  • .development/patchlog.md — Skill-Standard-Seed (vorwärtsgerichtet).
  • src/lib/__tests__/patchlog.test.ts — Unit-Tests für den Parser.

An der Stelle, wo die Version heute steht (Footer / Settings / About):

import { VersionBadge } from "@/components/VersionBadge";

// …irwo im JSX:
<VersionBadge />

Optionen:

  • <VersionBadge onlyNewer={false} /> → volle Historie statt nur "Was ist neu"
  • <VersionBadge label="Version" /> → "Version v0.2.1" statt nur "v0.2.1"
  • <VersionBadge version="v0.2.1" /> → Version überschreiben (falls manuelle Kontrolle nötig)

Impact on release goals

Blackbox

  • python3 scripts/blackbox_test.py --target testing → grün (enthält neuen Test GET /api/patchlog → 200)
  • Neu hinzugefügt: t_patchlog prüft GET /api/patchlog auf 200 + {version, count, entries}-Schema.
  • Unit-Tests: src/lib/__tests__/patchlog.test.ts decken Parser, Sortierung, Dedup, entriesSince ab.

Six-perspectives check

  • Product: Hebt den "Was ist neu"-Moment hervor; verstärkt Vertrauen.
  • Engineering: Minimaler Diff; Pure Functions (testbar); kein raw-HTML (XSS-sicher); neue API-Route folgt bestehendem Muster (/api/auth/health).
  • Psychology: Autonomie — Nutzer sieht selbst, was sich geändert hat; keine Dunklen Patterns.
  • Biomechanics: N/A (keine Bewegungslogik betroffen).
  • Anatomy: N/A.
  • Feldenkrais: Keine Bewertung/ kein Score — reine Information.

Risk

Checklist

  • Branch von dev
  • Conventional Commits (feat:, test:, docs:)
  • Patchlog-Eintrag angelegt (.development/patchlog.md)
  • Keine Secrets / keine großen Binaries

Verdict: P1 — Approve with changes

Solid, clean architecture: pure-function parser (well-tested, 17/17), XSS-safe rendering (<pre>, no dangerouslySetInnerHTML), accessible modal basics (Esc, scroll-lock, role="dialog"). CI is now fully green (Unit tests 70/70 ✓ + Frontend+Tauri build ✓) thanks to the dependency/CI fixes on this branch. No P0 blockers.

But three P1 issues prevent this from delivering its promised impact and should be fixed before merge:

P1 — Feature is not wired into the app (no observable user value)

None of the new components (VersionBadge, PatchlogModal, VersionWithPatchlog) is imported anywhere outside their own files. I grepped the whole src/ tree — zero references. The PR body sells "Footer-Einbindung = EINE Zeile", but that one line is missing from the diff. As merged, this ships 7 new files that no user can ever reach.

Consequence: the change fails the project's own "massive step" test — a reviewer cannot point at a concrete change the user sees. It's invisible code. Please add the actual drop-in (footer / settings / about) so the feature is reachable.

P1 — i18n is broken for a 9-language app

The codebase is fully internationalised via next-intl (src/messages/{de,en,es,fr,he,pt,pt-BR,ru,zh}.json, useTranslations everywhere). The new components hardcode German strings: "Lade Patchlog…", "Was ist neu", "Schließen", "Patchlog für … anzeigen", "(aktuell: …)", "Fehler:", "Keine Einträge gefunden.". Every other component reads from the message catalogues; this one regresses to DE-only. The patchlog keys need to be added to all 9 message files.

P1 — Version auto-detection won't work in practice

VersionBadge reads NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_VERSION (env) then falls back to /api/patchlog. But:

  • NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_VERSION is not set anywhere (next.config.js, .env* — checked, absent).
  • The PR body claims 3 sources including @/config/version, but that's not implemented — src/config/version.ts (getVersion() reading package.json) already exists and is ignored.
  • So in production the badge shows unknown, and /api/patchlog also returns version: "unknown" (same currentAppVersion()).

Please either (a) wire NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_VERSION in next.config.js from package.json, or (b) reuse the existing getVersion() from @/config/version (which already reads package.json) in both VersionBadge and route.ts. Option (b) is the smallest diff and removes the duplication.

Blackbox: ✅ CI green (70/70 unit + Tauri build). The /api/patchlog blackbox test will only pass on testing once this is merged & deployed (currently 404 — expected).

Six-perspectives: Engineering ✗ (invisible feature + i18n regression); Feldenkrais ✓ (no judgement/strain, neutral info); Psychology ✓ (autonomy: user explores changes voluntarily); Biomechanics/Anatomy N/A.

Roadmap impact: Once the P1s land, this establishes the .development/patchlog.md skill-standard and makes release notes visible — a real transparency win. As-is, it's infrastructure without a user-facing surface.

P1 — currentAppVersion() falls back to "unknown", and NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_VERSION/APP_VERSION are not set anywhere in the repo (next.config.js, .env* all absent). So the API always returns version: "unknown", which then propagates to VersionBadge. The existing src/config/version.ts already does require('../../package.json').version — import and reuse that here so the version actually resolves.

P2 — The component JSDoc (line 17) claims the modal is "focus-trapped", but there's no focus-trap logic here. autoFocus on the close button (line ~120) sets initial focus, but Tab/Shift+Tab freely leaves the dialog into the background. Either implement a real trap (listen for Tab at the dialog boundary and wrap focus) or drop the claim from the doc to avoid implying an accessibility guarantee that isn't there.

P1 — JSDoc claims @/config/version is source #1, but the implementation (lines 41-42) only reads NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_VERSION + API. src/config/version.ts (getVersion() from package.json) is never imported, and NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_VERSION is unset in next.config.js/.env* — so the badge shows unknown in prod. Reuse the existing getVersion() from @/config/version to fix both the detection and the duplication.
